Julian Hölscher’s work emerges from the interplay between the fields of media art and audiovisual communication. In his role as Art Director he develops concepts for site-specific media installations – always with a keen sense for the respective context. In doing so, every project profits from his guidance and his ability to shape target-oriented design solutions.
He draws from years of experience in object-, graphic-, and motion-design while always remaining curious to find new contemporary aesthetics. Julian Hölscher’s craft is the art of telling stories. These stories are made of time, sound, and imagery which are interwoven into a dramaturgy, or are decoded into a single floating moment. It is every work’s goal to evoke new thoughts in the observer.
